Grinding is a maintenance activity involving grinding down exposed footpath lips with a mechanical grinder. Footpath Grinding is usually undertaken if a vertical joint displacement is greater than a predefined height (a tripping hazard), and the higher side of the footpath is in otherwise good condition. In some cases, we also apply a “wedge” of premix adjacent to a raised lip. And in some scenarios, we also apply a concrete repair compound to cracks and other defects.
